Determining Molecular Weights

This optional module, ChromStar GPC, allows the automatic or manual determination of molecular weights. The distribution curves (Mw, Mn, Mz, Mz+1) and their integration across the chromatogram are calculated and presented in graphic form. Calibration is done according to DIN 55672 Part 1 (1st to 3rd order and further odd-numbered orders).

Universal calibrations can be made taking viscosity and Mark-Howink constants into account. To analyse samples for which there are no standards with precisely defined molecular weight distributions, the "Broad Standard Calibration" can be used.
